Job Highlight

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled TIG welder to perform repair work on gas turbine components. The successful candidate will weld on thin materials, typically ranging from 40 to 60 thousand gauged. The job involves a lot of stainless steel work, but other alloys such as Hastelloy, pneumonic, cobalt, and superalloys will also be used. Due to the thin nature of these materials, controlling the heat will be a crucial part of the job. Additionally, candidates will be responsible for prepping their own work and blending welds using various grinders and sanders. Precision is of utmost importance as the parts are thin and very expensive. The components to be welded include turbine blades, nozzles, combustion parts, blocks, and shrouds.
